柿渋染めと鉄媒染を施した大漁旗や幟旗など、
さまざまな古布を組み合わせて仕立てた、
chibisixオリジナルの一点ものバッグです。

大漁旗や幟旗ならではの大胆な色柄を生かしながら、
布の向きや色の組み合わせを楽しんで、
一枚一枚、自由に組み合わせました。

柿渋染めに鉄媒染を重ねることで生まれた、
落ち着きのある深い色合いと独特の風合い。
その中に残る赤や緑、紫、黄色などの色彩がアクセントとなり、
古布ならではの味わい深く個性的な表情に仕上がっています。

使われてきた大漁旗や幟旗に、
染めと新たな命を吹き込み、
毎日の暮らしで楽しんでいただけるバッグへと仕立てました。

肩紐は長さを調節できるので、

Persimmon-Dyed & Iron-Mordanted Japanese Vintage Fabric Bag

A one-of-a-kind bag made from various pieces of vintage Japanese fabrics, including traditional fishing flags (Tairyōbata) and festival banners (Nobori), dyed with natural persimmon tannin and finished with an iron mordant.

The bold colors and distinctive patterns of the original fabrics have been carefully combined to create a unique patchwork design.

The combination of persimmon dyeing and iron mordanting creates deep, earthy tones and a beautifully aged texture, while touches of red, green, purple, and yellow remain visible throughout the design.

Each piece of vintage fabric has its own history, character, and signs of age. These imperfections are embraced as part of the beauty of the materials.

The adjustable shoulder strap allows you to wear the bag comfortably over the shoulder or across the body.
