型染め、消防半纏、刺し子の剣道着など、
それぞれ表情の違う古布を組み合わせて仕立てた、
chibisixオリジナルの2WAYバッグです。

深みのある藍色をベースに、
型染めの柄や消防半纏の味わい、
刺し子剣道着の細かな刺し目が重なり、
ひとつひとつの布の個性が楽しめるバッグに仕上がりました。

古布は、使われてきた年月によって
色の濃淡や擦れ、織りの表情などがそれぞれ違います。

そんな「今では作れない布」だからこその魅力を生かし、
布と布の組み合わせを楽しみながら、
一点一点、自由に仕立てています。

手持ちでも、ショルダーでも使える2WAY仕様。
ちょっとそこまでにちょうど良いバッグです♪

Vintage Japanese Fabric 2-Way Bag | Katazome, Firefighter’s Hanten & Sashiko

A one-of-a-kind 2-way bag made by combining several pieces of vintage Japanese fabrics, including traditional katazome (stencil-dyed fabric), a firefighter’s hanten coat, and sashiko-stitched kendo fabric.

Deep indigo tones, traditional patterns, worn textures, and beautiful sashiko stitching come together to create a unique piece with plenty of character.

Each vintage fabric has its own history and signs of use—fading, subtle stains, fraying, and changes in texture. Rather than hiding these imperfections, I have incorporated them into the design to preserve the charm and character of the original fabrics.

The bag can be carried by hand or worn over the shoulder with the adjustable strap, making it perfect for everyday use or traveling.

Because the fabrics are vintage and each combination is carefully chosen by hand, no two bags are exactly alike.
