柿渋染めの鯉のぼりから生まれた、一点もののリュック
昔の鯉のぼりを柿渋で染め、味わい深い色合いに仕上げた生地を使って、リュックに仕立てました。
長い年月を経た鯉のぼりに柿渋染めを施すことで、元の柄がほんのりと浮かび上がり、深みのある茶色と独特の風合いが生まれています。
前面には鯉のぼりの柄を大胆に残し、別の古布を組み合わせてアクセントに。
同じ生地でも、染まり方や色の出方は一つひとつ異なるため、同じものは二度と作れません。
背面には大きめのポケットを付け、実用性も◎。
上部には持ち手が付いているので、リュックとしてだけでなく手に持って使うこともできます。
古い鯉のぼりが、日々のお出かけに使えるバッグへ。

One-of-a-Kind Backpack Made from a Persimmon-Dyed Koinobori
This unique backpack is handmade from a vintage Japanese koinobori (carp streamer) that has been dyed with natural persimmon tannin dye.
The original koinobori pattern softly emerges through the rich brown tones of the persimmon dye, creating a beautifully aged and distinctive texture.
The original carp streamer fabric is boldly incorporated into the front, combined with another piece of vintage Japanese fabric to add contrast and character.
Because each vintage koinobori reacts differently to the dye, every piece has its own unique color, texture, and appearance. No two bags can ever be exactly the same.
A large pocket on the back provides convenient storage, while the top handle allows the bag to be carried by hand as well as worn as a backpack.
An old Japanese koinobori has been given a new life as a practical bag for everyday use.
The fabric will soften and develop even more character with use, making this a truly one-of-a-kind piece.
Please note that vintage fabric may have natural imperfections such as uneven dyeing, variations in color, fading, small marks, stains, or signs of wear. These are part of the unique character of vintage koinobori and persimmon dyeing.
